April 21, 2010 (Chantilly, VA) - The OSDBU Procurement Conference is a national conference fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government, its Prime Contractors, and small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses.
OSDBU which is the government acronym for Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization which helps small disadvantaged businesses navigate through Government bureaucracy, in order to identify contracting opportunities. OSDBU helps small businesses find opportunities directly with government agencies as well as helps small businesses identify teaming or subcontracting opportunities with large businesses, also known as prime contractors.
American Innovations, Inc. a Minority, Woman-Owned Small Business with SBA HUBZone and 8(a) certifications was one of the sponsors of the 20th Annual OSDBU Conference held on April 21, 2010 at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia. Attendees at this year’s OSDBU conference received a BombDetection.com Frisbee and American Innovations one page capabilities statement. The President and CEO of American Innovations, Diana Enciso conducted 75 meetings throughout the event with government agencies and prime contractors, clearly a productive and efficient event.
The Vice President of American Innovations greeted attendees and exhibitors at the booth. Several give-a-ways were handed out and a raffle was held. American Innovations, Inc. will be participating again at OSDBU 2011.
